CATORXE is a well-known brand of the famous Swiss company CATTIN+CIE, founded by the famous Swiss watchmaker Joe Ignace Cattin (Georges Ignace Cattin, 1785-1862) in the middle of the nineteenth century.

In the middle of the 20th century, Guy Cattin (Guy Cattin, born in 1932) inherited CATTIN+CIE company, registered the CATOREX trademark in Switzerland in 1961, and then used CATOREX as its registered trademark.

In the late 20th century, CATOREX was approved to be registered in dozens of countries in Europe, America, and Asia.
