How to wind a CARRERA watch?
About TAG Heuer Carrera
Carrera is Spanish for passion, adventure and heroism. The name Carrera is derived from a legendary racing race in the 1950s - a five-day, 3300km (2100 miles) across the Carrera Pan Americana in Mexico. It was the most prestigious and dangerous endurance race of its time. In 1963, Jack Heuer, the son of Edward Heuer, began to create a chronograph specially designed for drivers and racing enthusiasts. A lifelong fan of motorsports, he knew what his customers wanted: a dial that was easy to read with good visibility, and a sturdy case that was shockproof and water-resistant for driving. In the second year, he launched a mechanical chronograph with manual winding, and named it Carrera (Carrera). The Carrera series is undoubtedly the proud work of Jack Heuer's lifelong efforts. The elegant and simple dial design has made the Carrera series a great success and opened the golden age for TAG Heuer.
