About Stowa
Stowa is a watch factory founded in 1927 in the watchmaking center of southern Germany. At first it was an agent for some Swiss watches, and later it made its own watches. Historically famous for manufacturing bauhaus style watches, B-Uhr for the German Nazi Air Force, and chronographs for the Navy. After World War II, it made civilian watches, and the business was very successful, sold to more than 80 countries (including China). Also invented the rufa shock absorber for the German local movement Puw and Durowe. The owner of the Stowa brand is watch designer Joerg Schauer, and the sales strategy is to re-engrave classic styles and use factory direct sales.
