About Ryser Kentfield

Ryser Kentfield was founded by Urs Ryser. Born in Biel, Switzerland, the hometown of famous Swiss watchmakers such as Rolex, Cartier, Omega and Rado, he has been surrounded by watches all his life. At the age of sixteen, he entered the Cantonales Technikum, a technical college specializing in the training of watchmakers since the 18th century and considered the center of the industry today. Mr. Ryser immersed himself in an intensive curriculum that included the mathematics and physics of timekeeping, as well as the manufacture and decoration of clocks. After many years at the academy, he joined the Rado watch company, where he further developed his abilities. Years later, Urs Ryser set off on his own and established Ryser Kentfield, a watch development, repair and design business. As an artist, his greatest passion remains the creation of watches.
