How to wind a GEVRIL watch?
About Gevril
Gevril was a sought-after master watchmaker who created his first chronometer in 1743 and the first repeater dial in 1744. In particular, the personal clock he made for the King of Spain in 1758 was extremely successful, so he was appointed by the Spanish royal family as the Swiss Royal Watchmaker in 1758.
Gevril's family watchmaking history was passed on to Jacques' son Moyse Gevril, who had become a master watchmaker in 1784. In the 19th century, the Gevril family extended their craftsmanship to enameling and creating dials. Xuefei can be found in major museums in Europe - the most special ones are the Geneva Watch Museum and the Rolex Museum (here you can see a Gevril pocket watch that is one of the private collections of the Wilsdorf family, the founder of Rolex).
